I am an Associate Professor of Pediatric Urology at Severance Children's Hospital, Yonsei University College of Medicine, and a Visiting Scholar at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto. My practice centres on hypospadias and genital reconstruction, undescended testis, concealed penis, neurogenic bladder, and vesicoureteral reflux.
In clinic the same questions come back every day wearing a different face. What a short consultation cannot hold, I write down here — for parents, as much evidence as a decision needs; for clinicians, the line between what the guidelines say and what they leave unsaid. How this began is in the first essay.

Clinical focus
Hypospadias and genital reconstruction (bladder exstrophy, differences of sex development), undescended testis and concealed penis, neurogenic bladder and spina bifida, vesicoureteral reflux, and minimally invasive and robot-assisted reconstruction of the upper and lower urinary tract.
